Envato is a business, yes, so why begrudge them their promotion? I’m sure most people who read their numerous blogs have learned a thing or two in the last three years.

Even if you were only interested in the site templates, it would be an amazing deal! The Convergence theme alone costs $25 normally. Why so mean for no reason?

agreeing with shane here. People cannot put huge time and effort into sites for nothing. These guys at the end of the day have to turn a profit to keep providing me and you with the great service they do.
Don’t begrudge them for selling something that is not only brilliant value for money but will ultimately keep their business ticking over.
I don’t get this, want-everything-for-free generation. Especially when the offer in question is not a demand. If you don’t want it you can just say no and continue to enjoy this service.

I was just being real… lots of sensitive people here I see. I might even end up buying the package but what I still maintain it is full of BS.
Why not do something like discount all items in the market for 3 days by 50% or so. That way I don’t have to buy video stuff if I have no use for it.
I’ll rather throw out my own suggestions than join the choir in shouting praise for what I’ve analyzed as BS. Don’t get sensitive people, I’m just being real here.

You know what… maybe I am trippin.
Since I already had the templates on there that I really like and the others seemed of no use to me, I was quick to brand the deal as being bad.
On further reflection though, there’s a lot being given out that will end up being of use down the line, which is not a bad deal for $20 USD @ all.
Keep up the good marketing guys :-), and the good work of course. You’re one of the best spots on the net (if not the best) for web development courses/tutorials.

Lol, lots of wannabe’s here. They made a bundle so that everyone can make a use of it. I bought it because of Convergence and matte brushes. I wont use audio files (as i love them, but i got no skills). PAck of like 6 themes/templates/psd’s for 20$ is a great deal, so dunno why u still complain ppl.

I am a multimedia professional – doing all the design, development, and technical administration ranging from server admin and coding server side scripting to color correcting video and layering sound effects to pre-roll 3D animation (that I do too).
I wouldn’t be interested in this – but just so you know, guys like me are out there. We can never master anything, but we can get pretty good at everything… and still get home by sunset to relax with the wife.

Yeah – I thought about including an admin template. However, it was important that we choose items that didn’t require any author support — which generally isn’t the case with admin themes.
