The best way to make work feel like not work is to do something you enjoy, and do it damn well. That’s why I’m happy to announce the newest Envato blog: WorkAwesome! As you might guess from the name, it’s a site for people who want to be awesome at work. After all, if you’re going to spend eight hours a day doing something, you may as well put some heart into it!
Over the coming months our crack editor Joel Falconer and his team of uber worker writers will be publishing articles on everything from How to Make an Effective To-do List to How to Prepare for a Layoff! We’ve got a brand new comic strip coming from the extremely talented NC Winters, and we’ll be opening up for contributions so that anybody and everybody can share their tips on how to be more awesome at work!
If you’re a fan of web design, you may be interested to know that I screen recorded the whole design process the day I put this layout together, and I’ve sped it up to 30 minutes and am going to be recording some commentary and posting it up over on Psdtuts+. Hopefully it’ll make for vaguely interesting viewing, though I do go off to quite a few design dead ends before finally getting something I’m happy with! In any case look out for that in the next couple of weeks!

Best Of Luck to “WorkAwesome”. Cool design, any special reason to move the sidebar to left side on the new blog ?
It actually distracts my eye when trying to read the content and there aren’t even any ad’s in there yet.
I too felt like loosing focus from the main content, may be because we are so used to the right sidebar.

I agree with Mike, The plethora of sites keeps getting better. I used to religiously come here to Nettuts, but now I just can’t seem to decide where to go first, whether it is Psdtuts, Nettusts or even Aetuts.
