In Search of NETTUTS Plus Writers

As many of you know, we’re currently in the process of rolling out a “Plus” program here at NETTUTS. Though we have a few writers lined up, we still need more! If you think you’re capable of writing high quality articles, read on.

I need writers for the following subjects:

  • jQuery, Mootools
  • PHP
  • High Level CSS
  • Frameworks

Extra consideration, and compensation, will be given to those that can also include screencasts along with their tutorials.

What is Required for a NETTUTS+ Tutorial?

Take the standard great articles that we publish every day on NETTUTS – then add 50%. You must be able to describe each step in your tuts fluently, and must include as many images as necessary to convey your ideas.

How Soon?

The sooner you send in your tut, the better! Email nettutsblog@gmail.com if you need more information.

Nothing Will Change

To those of you that don’t want to pay for a premium service, don’t worry. We will still continue to provide you with fantastic tutorials every day. Our weekly screencast, that continues to grow in popularity, will continue.

However, if you’d like to take your skills further each week, we can help. More information to come soon! Thanks everybody.

  5. Don Wilson says:

If you submit an article that gets published in NETTUTS PLUS, do you have to pay to see it?

  6. John Farrar says:

Would be nice if you gave point of contact link. I see it down to the right in the sidebar on the bottom. (My guess is others are missing it.)

  7. Don Wilson says:

Also, do you paid more submitting one of these type of articles?

  18. This is really interesting.

What would the commission be on posting these kind of tutorials?

Also, would it be of interest to have Ruby on Rails tutorials? Or is PHP preferred?

  19. Ben Carroll says:

Wow there is so much information to cover.
I think I might do a tut on css or mootools, but I have no clue as to what kind of topics would be useful to people. I guess I will do a little research.
Also how long do you plan on looking for writers? Because I would love to write for this blog but I just found it.

  20. I would like to do a tut on processing and e-mailing a form through the internet with PHP, as most of the people i talk to don’t know how to do it.

  21. Connor says:

This will surely be a great addition to the site.
