Mibbit (the IRC Chat Ajax client uses Comet method)
Gtalk also
just curious because i want to make a web app where it checks for new input from database every second and unsure how to do it i was told on irc in jquery channels to use ‘Comet’

@jeff I wonder if you would mind putting the link you will be sending us to somewhere in the description you write. That way I can choose NOT to follow one like “perfect headers” above to “sampsonvideos.” I don’t know what the guy is inflicting on my machine when he loads but I had to ab-end (cntl-alt-del) in order to get it off my screen. Having to endure the guys advertisement popups center screen every 2 min throughout, and his adolescent personality just isn’t worth the basic stuff he explains.
He’s no where near the quality that your web authors are (which makes me appreciate ya’ll even more)
( )Gene May 3rd
