    Meet Adrian Try

    Adrian Try

Adrian, our Audiotuts+ legend, is our only locally based Tuts+ editor – though I use the word ‘local’ loosely, since Adrian lives in a much sunnier and more tropical part of Australia than we do! He’s a writer and musician with a passion for everything open source. Adrian also has six kids, one of which works for Envato – though he refuses to let us say who ;)

    About the Book

The Internet abounds with information on CSS based design. However it’s spread across a large and disparate group of sites and can be very difficult to find. The purpose of this book is to pull all this information together in one place, thus creating a definitive guide to modern CSS based techniques. The book can be read cover to cover, with each chapter building on the previous one. However it can equally be used as a reference book, dipping into each chapter or technique to help solve specific problems.

    This second edition contains:

    • New examples and updated browser support information
    • New case studies from Simon Collison and Cameron Moll
    • CSS3 examples, showing new CSS3 features, and CSS3 equivalents to tried and tested CSS2 techniques

    What you’ll learn

    • The best practice concepts in CSS design.
    • The most important (and tricky) parts of CSS
    • Identify and fix the most common CSS problems
    • How to deal with the most common bugs
    • Completely up to date browser support information
    • Covers CSS3 as well as CSS2 showing you the future of CSS

How to Enter in 10 Seconds or Less

For the chance to win a free copy of the book, all you need to do is comment. Make sure to include your correct email address with your comment so that we can contact you. This giveaway is open worldwide, but make sure to get your comment in before midnight on New Year’s Eve, Pacific Eastern Standard Time.

To increase your chances of winning something, make sure to enter again once on each Tuts+ site. There are 8 giveaways going on right now, each with another chance to win.

Please note: Envato staff and people who have written more than two tutorials/articles for a Tuts+ site are not eligible to enter.
