Jeffrey, nettuts has hit more than 80,000 RSS subscribers… Are you planning to do a screencast on how to convert this theme into WordPress as promised? :)

  • Sean Albers

I can’t help but notice the session is marked “completed”, but I don’t see the tutorial on converting it to a WordPress theme. Is that one forthcoming?

  • Lukas

Yep – working on the WP version tomorrow.

      • Robert Bailey

Well tomorrow has come and gone about a week now. Are you going to finish the WP version or is it going to take 2 months also.

      • http://laranzjoe.blogspot.com lawrence77

        Tomorrow never dies :)

      • Jon

Tomorrow was nearly a year ago!

  • wuddl

“we can create it into wordpress if you want”… are you kidding me? freaking YES PLEASE!!! :D thx for finishing this series! you are awesome!

  • perceval

Thanks Jeffrey for the tuto, you save my life, god bless you.

  • noname

Jeff, I remember you making a huge screencast series on jQuery. I guess it would be nice to post them in Sessions, just like CodeIgniter series etc.

  • waste

Jeffrey is such a beast! Love your work, much appreciated.

  • WP newbie

Can’t wait for the WP video release…Jeff, you’ve got us on the edge of our seats…!!

  • White

Jeff, thank you very much for sharing with us your pro (sometimes unique) skills and techniques! Much appreciated!
    Looking forward for WP conversion.

    God bless you!

  • Demetre

@Robert Bailey. Yo! Chill out Bud. I don’t think you appreciate the amount of work and time it takes to create this line of work. And on top of that Jeff, has a lot on his hands and doesn’t need an inpatient little child like your self to tell him when things should get done.

    • Robert Bailey

I think three months no wait four months is long enough. And he has been releasing other tuts. I guess this is another one we can count on him not finishing.

  • Kuzmich

Jeff, thank you so mush for this session!

  • Etrimon

    90 000 Rss subscribers reached! :-)

  • Tholithemba

waiting patiently for part 10 :)

  • MARWAN

thank you Jeff for the great tuts
I,m wating for convert it to wordpress theme

  • Sonja

    Hey Jeff…
what’s about the last chapter? i thought you wanted to finish it and show us how you convert the theme to wordpress?

    • White

I never believed what some pessimistic guys were saying that he’s not gonna finish this tut., but unfortunately I think it’s time to give up hoping.
Somebody, please tell us any reason (except the one ‘never give up hoping’) why we should still hope that Jeff is going to convert it to WordPress?

Anyway I’m grateful what I gained from this good tutorial.
      Cheers ;)

  • Amanda

I just spent the last three days going through this tutorial and let me say I learned A LOT! I can’t believe how quickly you can do things…I’m still moving at a snails pace! I can’t wait to dig into other sessions and tutorials! Jeffery, thanks so much for taking the time to complete this tutorial. I wish I could just sit beside you and watch, but this is the next best thing.

Hope to see the wordpress tutorial soon!

  • http://www.analyticsseo.com Steve

Please can you publish the video that shows us how to convert into a WordPress theme I have been waiting for this for many months.

The videos are amazingly helpful, but I have been waiting for them to be completed before I start a project and go through them as I was worried they may not be completed.

If they aren’t going to show how to convert into a WordPress theme please can you post a link to a suitable tutorial so I can make sure I can finish my project successfully?

Many thanks for all the hard work that went into these and sharing the knowledge.

    Regards

    Steve

  • Andrew

I too would still love to see the wordpress integration as I’ve never found a great tutorial for that. Even without out that though, this is by far the best tutorial for something like this I’ve come across. I wish it was around when I first learned to code!

  • Realisthick

You tutplus guys got 80K subscribers to your site with the promise of releasing the “converting the html into wordpress theme” tutorial. and you gut subscribers and disappeared on us… the 10th section is not even written there anymore. it has been months… be fair, and do what you have promised!!!

  • Jonny

When is the next part coming ?!?!? A reply would be great…

  • Raalsky

I can’t download sources form session. I want to download a PSD.

  • Jon

WordPress lesson is still not here?

  • http://www.vision-ps.de irfan

@ raalsky download the files it include PSD in it.

we are still waiting for wordpress Version

  • ssi48

    WP theme please

  • Reckless

Thanks Jeff great tutorial learned alot and from your other tutorials ;)

Only thing I dont like is the sparkup or zencoding, for somone new to html and css it will confuse them alot when using sparkup and I think it would be bad practice to learn it when starting out. Rest is perfect and thanks again.

  • mudassar butt

    THANKS ! JEFF:)

  • Chuck

You Have got th 81,000 rss subscribers please release the chapter 10 of this series.
    THANKS! CHUCK WHISLER :)

  • JJ

Thanks Jeff – This screen-cast series was awesome.

I come from an app development background and have been trying to get my head around web development. I learnt so much from this screen-cast. It filled in all the missing blanks I’ve had especially those with the “devil” CSS :-)
Every tut, book or video always deals with only one aspect where as your screen-cast deals with everything. The other good thing is you make the “mistakes” and then show how to trouble-shoot them.

    Much appreciated, JJ

PS. Looking forward to the last Chapter – converting to a Word Press theme.

  • Timothe Borel

Thanks jeff, you’re incredibly awesome, i mean, i know a lot in only a few days with all those tuts/courses. You guys are the best, keep up the good work !
