Good idea. I know there are “Basix” tuts on this stuff, but if you’re a complete newb you probably wouldn’t realize wtf “HTML” and “CSS” were.

Jeff, do you mess with any languages like Ruby or Python? Ever consider becoming a Django guy? I’d pay for tuts on CodeCanyon of Django if they were high quality (like your tuts usually are).

    Jus’ sayin’.

Keep up the good work guys.

Jeffrey, I like your tutorials and work very much!!! Are going to have some time in near future to complete the Photoshop to HTML session and do the last chapter -> Convert to WordPress part? Thank you again :-)

    Jeff,

You know you’re the best right?
I just had to say high and thanks for doing this, I am happy to say that I have no need of these tuts thanks to your other tuts, but I do want to learn how to work more with AJAX and JSON type of technologies, any recommendations on getting there ?

    -Cheers

Jeffrey, really like his video lessons, I really appreciate your work and find missing people like you here in Brazil. Got a tip about this series … You could teach how to create layouts for mobile (iPod, iPhone, iPad …) wanted to learn. Thanks !

  • Another Jeffrey

Great videos Jeffrey! I am a newbie and love the fact that you are starting form the VERY beginning and showing us how the pros do things. Thanks and love all the Nettut videos. Much appreciated.

As some one who recently found his calling for web design, and having limited programming background, these tutorials seem like an awesome way to dive into the field. Very excited for what is to come! Can’t wait until next week Jeff! Thanks.

    Hello,

I have been working with html css php js amateurly for about 2-3 years but I still couldn’t figure out which way to apart things. I believe that maybe not html but css is for designers not developers. Maybe my definition of developer is different but I think when you say I’m a web developer I understand that you are involved with server-side. Am I wrong ?. Does web development involve html+css ?

  • Roger

Watching the tutorials with great interest. Looking forward to next series. Using the info to re-design my web site–thanx.

Brilliant tutorials Jeffery! Been looking for something like this for ages. I played with notepad and html many years ago, but them moved to more design based design in dreamweaver. I would love to be able to code myself, or at least know how to, and this series looks like it will re-teach what i know aready and bring me up to date with what i dont know…

Can’t wait for the next episodes…

    Keep up the great work!!!

    Hey Jeffrey,

Not sure if you can help me, but I figured I’d ask. I am looking for some online classes/courses for Web Development. Do you have any suggestions on receiving a good foundation for Web Development?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jon
