Some good new apps on there I haven’t run into yet, Snipplr looks promising but doesn’t seem to be working correctly. At least not on any of my browsers.
I’m a big fan of these tuts. I do try and post a fair amount on my own site as well as freebies but these types of tutorials often get overlooked for being too simple – they’re not, they’re great.
These are perfect for everyone – the list-item one I found really handy because even though I’m no newbie, it’s always nice to see how others do it – or how to get around horrible annoyances (staircasing list items for example).

I know I still consider myself a novice at web development, but two tools that I have found very helpful in coding are Firebug and IE Tab 2. Firebug helps find weaknesses in security, like Lynda.com’s exposed video url and IE Tab 2 helps with markup when you can easily switch from IE browser engine to Firefox.

I simply want to say thanks. Having just graduated from college, I never got the opportunity to take classes in web development, so I am on a mission to become self taught and become well versed in both front end an back-end development.These tutorials have been very very helpful, especially to me as a novice. I feel a lot more comfortable with web development after going through these. Looking forward to more of your work.

These tutorials have been great, but why has it been almost 3 months since the last update? As a newbie, unfinished (and seemingly abandoned) sessions throughout the tutsplus network make it really difficult for me to want to use the site as a resource knowing that I’m likely going to be left floundering halfway through…
plz, we need new lesons =)
Hey I have used CssPlease and CssPlayground but when I have a border-radius and a gradient within IE9 it spills out past the radius, but works fine in FireFox and Safari.
I also tried this website http://www.css3pie.com but with that it doesnt do the gradient just makes the BG color one static color, but shows the gradient in FF and Safari.
Anyone know a fix for this for IE?

As much as i thought i had a pretty good understanding of HTML, i have found that i have much to learn and loving learning it! Jeffrey you make each of these lessons fun and easy to follow.
