Was wondering if there is a way to make it so that the next and prev buttons would show the next and prev images instead of the arrow buttons?

Hi there, first of all I’d like to say thankyou for taking the time to put this tutorial up, I am currently in the process of reworking the code do develop a data driven gallery with some other features.. Just a couple of questions:

In terms of Data driven, it should be as simple as setting up the data base with the relevant fields and populating to stick to the stringent rules you’ve placed over this gallery(img size and name(1,2,3 etc.))….

Then just a case of poulating the query into an array and passing that array to the current ’show_pictures’ function right?

Look guys, it’s a TUTORIAL! If he were to add all of the extras some of you asked for he might as well release the thing as a plugin or something. That said, making it degrade gracefully should be a part of any Javascript tutorial.
