Hi…
Excellent tutorial =]
But when the “Title” haves a special character (ç, á, é, í…), it just print a “null” text.
I already had tried to remove the special characters by inserting some RegularExpressions and “ereg_replace”, but still shows a “null” text.

Alright, I’ve yet to get this to work. The root of my issue is the PHP in the Jquery. Should all of this code be executed in one PHP file? If so, where the heck do I call that for the homepage of my wordpress build?

I’m trying to spread it into a twitter-loadmore.php file in my root directory (the file that accesses the database and puts it into json) and a custom.js (the jquery bit).

I run into trouble getting the initial posts as well as loading more. It loads the same posts over and over!

But with the function written by andyrusterholz, which you can find here: http://fr.php.net/json_encode in the User Contributed Notes, I got this baby even running on PHP4, great work all you guys.

PS. I am not the worlds greatest programmer but I sure know how to copy paste

Maybe you need to be more precise on the php version, it took me a while to figure out why your code was not working….

JSON encoding and decoding is built into PHP since PHP 5.20 and my server is running 5.1.3
