Drupal takes a trip round the world to get from your right ear to your left, and still imposes _way_ too many restrictions that are likely to piss developers off -- unless they are getting paid by the hour to learn the overbloated CMS on the client's dime. I love the simplicity of Wordpress too -- worked with both WP and WPMU, and turned around sites in double-quick time. The simple admin also makes clients happy. I totally agree. Theming is remarkably similar to Wordpress. I would like to learn how to create modules eventually. I can tell there is a learning curve for Drupal but I can tell that its well worth it.
