In the screencast “How to Select Anything and Everything with jQuery”, why would you use “eval” over “RegExp”?
return RegExp(‘/’ + meta[3] + ‘/’, ‘i’).test(…);

With that error logging, is there a way to log the errors without displaying them to the user?
I’m curious too. Is there?
You can display custom friendly errors to users and log the details of the true error, but you must create a really robust error checking, probably a class to manage this would be be a nice start.

Great video tutorials. I particularly liked that ones jQuery related. Even that I’m not a big fun of jQuery, sometimes I’m using it when is coming to pictures effects. Thanks again!
